स्वाभिमानी शेतकरी संघटनेचे नेते रविकांत तुपकर यांनी मांडलेला विषय महत्त्वाचा असून सोयाबीन-कापूस उत्पादकांच्या समस्या रास्त आहेत, राज्यस्तरावरील बहुतांशी मागण्या आम्ही तातडीने पूर्णत्वास नेवू तर केंद्र शासनासंदर्भात असलेल्या मागण्यांबाबत केंद्र सरकारकडे पाठपुरावा करू, केंद्रीय वाणिज्य मंत्री पियुष गोयल यांच्यासोबत शिष्टमंडळाची बैठक लावू आणि सोयाबीन-कापूस प्रश्नी केंद्र सरकारशी चर्चा करण्यासाठी लवकरच राज्य सरकारचे शिष्टमंडळ घेवून दिल्लीत घेवून जाऊ,असे आश्वासन मुख्यमंत्री ना.एकनाथ शिंदे व उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी दिले. सोयाबीन- कापूस उत्पादकांच्या मागण्यांबाबत आक्रमक भूमिका घेत जलसमाधी आंदोलनासाठी रविकांत तुपकर हजारो शेतकऱ्यांची फौज घेऊन मुंबईत दाखल झाले होते. दरम्यान या आंदोलनाची राज्य सरकारने गंभीर दखल घेतली असून तुपकरांना चर्चेचे निमंत्रण देऊन मुख्यमंत्री व उपमुख्यमंत्री यांनी दिडतास रविकांत तुपकर यांच्या मागण्या समजून घेतल्या व सोयाबीन-कापूस उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांच्या समस्यांबाबत सकारात्मक चर्चा यावेळी करण्यात आली. सह्याद्री अतिथी गृह मुंबई येथे ही बैठक दुपारी अडीच वाजता पार पडली. मुख्यमंत्री ना.एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री ना.देवेंद्र फडणवीस, कृषिमंत्री ना.अब्दुल सत्तार, सहकार मंत्री ना.अतुल सावे कृषी सचिव एकनाथ डवले यांच्यासह प्रमुख विविध विभागांचे प्रमुख अधिकारी या बैठकीला उपस्थित होते.

शेतकऱ्यांना सरसकट हेक्टरी ५० हजारांची मदत द्यावी, सोयाबीनला किमान ८ हजार ७०० रुपये आणि कापसाला १२ हजार ७०० रुपये भाव स्थीर रहावा यासाठी सोयापेंड (डीओसी) नियार्तीला प्रोत्साहन द्यावे, मागील वर्षी आयात केलेल्या ५ लाख मेट्रिक टन सोयापेंडला डिसेंबरपर्यंत दिलेली मुदतवाढ रद्द करावी, सोयापेंड आयात करु नये, यंदा १५ लाख मेट्रिक टन सोयापेंड निर्यात करावी, सोयाबीनची वायदे बाजारावरील बंदी उठवावी, खाद्य तेलांवरील आयात शुल्क ३० टक्के करावे, कापसाचे आयात शुल्क पूर्वीप्रमाणे ११ टक्के ठेवावे, कापूस व सूत नियार्तीला प्रोत्साहन द्यावे, पीककर्जासाठी सीबीलची अट रद्द करावी, शेतकऱ्यांना दिवसा वीज द्यावी, महिला बचत गटांचे कर्ज माफ करावे, शेतकऱ्यांच्या अनुदानाची रक्कम कर्जात वळती करु नये, मेंढपाळांना चराईक्षेत्र उपलब्ध करून द्यावे, यासह ईतर मागण्या रविकांत तुपकरांनी अत्यंत प्रभावीपणे मांडल्या. सोयाबीन व कापसाचा उत्पादन खर्च व मिळणारे उत्पादन यातील फरकाची अभ्यासपूर्ण मांडणी तुपकरांनी केली. मुख्यमंत्री, उपमुख्यमंत्री यांनी तुपकरांचे म्हणने व सर्व मागण्या गांभीर्याने समजून घेतल्या.या शिष्टमंडळात दामोदर इंगोले,अमोल हिप्परगे, डॉ.ज्ञानेश्वर टाले, अमोल राऊत, अनंता मानकर आदींचा समावेश होता
