यात प्रमोद चौगुले यांनी राज्यात प्रथम क्रमांक पटकावला.

आयोगाने पात्र विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मुलाखतीचा कार्यक्रम शुक्रवारी संपवला आणि

त्यानंतर काही तासातच या परीक्षेचा निकाल जाहीर करण्यात आला.

महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगाकडून डिसेंबर २०१९ मध्ये

२०० पदांसाठी जाहिरात प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आली होती.

परंतु कोरोनाच्या प्रादुर्भावामुळे ही परीक्षा चार वेळा पुढे ढकलण्यात आली.

२०२१ च्या मार्च महिन्यात पूर्व परीक्षा झाली.

त्यात २ लाख ६२ हजार उमेदवारांनी नोंदणी केली.

तर १ लाख ७१ हजार लोकांनी प्रत्यक्ष परीक्षा दिली.

पूर्व परीक्षेचा निकाल सप्टेंबर २०१९ मध्ये जाहीर झाला.

यामध्ये निवड झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मुलाखती १८ ते २९ एप्रिल दरम्यान झाल्या.

आणि यामध्ये प्रमोद चौगुले यांनी बाजी मारली आहे.

कोरोनामुळे या परीक्षेला विलंब झाला आणि त्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये नाराजीचंं वातावरण होतं.

पण डिसेंबर मध्ये मुख्य परीक्षा झाल्यावर एप्रिल महिन्यात मुलाखती झाल्या आणि

मुलाखतीनंतर तीन-चार महिन्यांनी निकाल जाहीर केला जाणारा निकाल

मात्र यावर्षी आयोगाने काही तासातच जाहीर केला.

प्रमोदला त्याच्या प्रवासाविषयी विचारण्यात आले तेव्हा तो म्हणाला की –

“गेल्या राज्यसेवा परीक्षेत माझी एका गुणाने संधी हुकली होती.

त्यामुळे मी पुन्हा जोमाने अभ्यास केल्यावर मला हे यश मिळालं.

मी बी.ई. मेकॅनिकल असून भारत पेट्रोलियम कंपनीत चार वर्षे काम केले.

यूपीएससी बरोबरच मी एमपीएससीची तयारी करत होतो.

माझे वडील टेम्पोचालक असून माझी आई गृहिणी आहे.”

एमपीएससीच्या मागील राज्यसेवा परीक्षेत प्रसाद चौघुले यांनी प्रथम क्रमांक मिळवला होता.

आणि यंदा प्रमोद चौगुले यांनी प्रथम क्रमांक मिळविला आहे.
