‘झुंड’ ची प्रसिद्धी आणि खरे वास्तव

कोव्हिडमुळं ओस पडलेल्या थेटरला पूर्णपणे उघडण्याचा मुहूर्त मिळाला..

पाठोपाठ गंगुबाई काठीयावाडी , झुंड आणि पावनखिंड असे दमदार चित्रपटसुद्धा आले.

नागराज मंजुळे लिखित ‘झुंड’ या चरित्रात्मक क्रीडा चित्रपटाची सध्या सगळीकडे चर्चा सुरू आहे.

२०१८ मध्ये नागपुरात या चित्रपटाचं शूटिंग झालं. पण कोव्हिड परिस्थितीमुळे चित्रपट रिलीज करण्याची तारीख वारंवार पुढे ढकलण्यात येत होती.

‘स्लम सॉकर’ NGO ( Slim Soccer ) चे संस्थापक विजय बोरसे ( vijay borase ) यांच्या जीवनावर आधारित हा चित्रपट आहे.

तसा तर हा चित्रपट फुटबॉलच्या खेळाबद्दल आहे असं वाटेल पण तसं नाहीये.

यात खेळ आहे तो जिद्द, संघर्ष आणि आयुष्याचा.

‘फॅन्ड्री’ आणि ‘सैराट’ या दोन सुपरहिट चित्रपटानंतर नागराज मंजुळे यांनी समाजातील उपेक्षित गटाच्या जगण्यावर बोलणारा हा तिसरा चित्रपट दिग्दर्शित केलाय.

वर्षानुवर्ष झोपडपट्टी मध्ये राहणाऱ्या मुलांना दुर्लक्षित केल गेलं.

प्रचंड कलाकारी असूनही त्यांना ते दाखवण्यासाठी योग्य प्लॅटफॉर्म मिळत नाही.

वडिलांना दारूच व्यसन ,जन्मी आलेलं अठराविश्व दारिद्र्य.

म्हणजे तो एक माहोलच असा असतो की गुटखा, दारू ,गांजा अशा बऱ्याच सवयी तिथल्या मुलांना लागतात.

सर्वसाधारणपणे आपल्याला दिसतं ते व्यसन म्हणजे फक्त गुटखा ,दारू आणि गांजा.

परंतु कोणाला सत्तेच व्यसन असतं, तर कोणाला जातीच आणि धर्माचं.

कोणाचा फुटबॉल करून कोणाला लाथा मारल्या जातात हे मात्र आपला समाज अजूनही बघत नाही.

तो बघ झोपडपट्टी मधला मुलगा असं म्हणून आपण मोकळे होतो.

पण त्यांच्यातील कलागुणांना वाव देण्याचा प्रयत्न या समाजात किती जण करतात?

बरं त्यांनाही भावना असतात आणि त्यांनाही व्यक्त व्हायचं असतं हे कितीजणांना समजत?

वर्षानुवर्षे तिथ राहूनही ओळखपत्र मिळविण्यासाठी त्यांना वणवण फिरावं लागतं ही शोकांतिका चित्रपटात अगदी चोखपणे मांडली आहे.

या मुलांसाठी एक आशेचा किरण बनून विजय बोराडे नावाचा एक रिटायर्ड फुटबॉल कोच येतो आणि त्यांना प्रेरित करतो की तुम्ही पण काहीतरी बनवू शकता.

अॅक्टिंग, ( acting ) कास्टिंग ( casting ) आणि डायरेक्शन ( direction )जबरदस्त आहे.

भिंतीच्या एका बाजूला झोपडपट्टी आहे तर दुसऱ्या बाजूला सो-कॉल्ड हाईक्लास सोसायटी.

त्या सोसायटीमधील माणसं भिंतीच्या या बाजूला कचरा टाकतात.

तो कोणाच्या दारात पडतो याचा मात्र विचार करत नाहीत. आपण म्हणतो की एखाद्या ठिकाणी खड्डा आहे तर दुसऱ्या ठिकाणी कुठेतरी ढीग लागलेला असतो.

आणि अशा सोसायटी स्वच्छ दिसतात कारण भिंतीच्या पलीकडे दुसरी बाजू स्वच्छ नसते.

ही भिंत समाजाच्या जवळपास सर्वच घटकांमध्ये आपल्याला पाहायला मिळते.

पण ज्यांच्या दारात हा कचरा जातो त्यांच्या घराला मात्र झेंडूच्या फुलांचे तोरण आपण बघतो.

त्यानंतर देव म्हणून कशाला शेंदूर फासला जातोय हा सीन अप्रतिम आहे जो एक सिम्बॉलिक सिन आहे.

चौकट ओलांडन सोपं नाही पण ही चौकट ज्यांनी ओलांडली आहे तोच त्या चौकटीत अडकलेल्यांना बाहेर काढू शकतो.

हे यातून सांगण्याचा उत्तम प्रयत्न केलाय.

‘Crossing the line is strictly prohibited’ अशी अक्षरे भिंतीवर लिहिलेली दिसतात’

आणि विमान आकाशात भरारी घेते इथेच चित्रपट संपतो.

चित्रपटतील सर्वच कलाकारांनी उत्कृष्ट अभिनय केला आहे.

चित्रपटाचे छायाचित्रण सुधाकर रेड्डी ह्यांचे आहे.

चित्रपटातील खेळातील क्षण टिपताना कॅमेरा अँगलचा इफेक्टिव्ह वापर लक्षात राहण्याजोगा आहे.

चित्रपटाचे संगीत अजय-अतुल ( Ajay-atul ) ह्यांचे आहे.

चित्रपटाचं टायटल साँग आणि लफडा झाला ही गाणी व्हायरल झाली आहेत.

अमिताभ बच्चन ह्यांचा अभिनय सुंदर झालाय.

कुठेही महानायकाच्या अवास्तवतेची झलक नाही.

पोटतिडकीने काम करणाऱ्या शिक्षकाची तळमळ त्यांच्या अभिनयामधून दिसून येते.

अंकुश गेडाम ने ‘डॉन’ ची भूमिका अतिशय परिणामकारक साकारली आहे.

अजय अतुल यांची गाणी आणि संकेत कानेटकर यांच पार्श्वसंगीत यांनी चित्रपटाला चार चाँद लावले आहेत .
